Why we always quote what a project actually costs. Not what wins the job.

The events industry has a pricing problem.

Jobs go to the cheapest quote, then the real costs start appearing, then the difficult conversations start happening. Then the client is managing a situation they didn't budget for, on a timeline they can't move, at an event they can't afford to get wrong.

We've watched it play out too many times to play that game.

How we work

When a client comes to us with a brief, we quote everything they actually need, not just what they've asked for.

Most companies quote one or two things. We'll quote five, because they need five, even if they don't know it yet. We're the experts. We know what a project requires, and it would be doing the client a disservice to give them a number that looks good now and causes problems later.

When we give a price and a client signs off on it, that's the price. We deliver to it. We don't go back and ask for more money unless the scope has genuinely changed. We don't find surprises halfway through a build. We don't pass problems to clients, we pass solutions.

And when something unexpected happens on site, because in events it often does, we’ve anticipated it, we get on with it, and we make sure the event runs exactly as it should.

That's not exceptional. That's just the standard we hold ourselves to.

What our partners say

One of our longest-standing partners, twenty years and counting, described what LOCK5 brings to a project with one word.

"De-risk."

That's what transparent, comprehensive pricing does. It removes uncertainty, the conversations nobody wants to have mid-build. It removes the gap between what was promised and what actually gets delivered.

When you know the price is real, the team is prepared and the delivery will match the brief, you can stop managing your supplier and start focusing on your event. That's the difference.

The long game

We're not always the cheapest option. We never have been. But the clients who understand our value keep coming back. Year after year, event after event, because the confidence that comes from working with a partner who tells you the truth upfront is worth far more than any saving made on a quote that was never going to hold.

We're in this for the long game. And in the long game, trust is everything.

Challenge us

Whether you're planning your next event or you've been working with us for years, challenge us to quote for your project.

Tell us the brief. Tell us the budget. Tell us what you need the space to do.

We'll tell you exactly what it takes to do it properly. All of it. No surprises. No gaps. No coming back for more.

Just a price you can trust, a team that delivers, and an event that runs flawlessly.

Every time.
