The Restaurant is Dead. Long Live the Experience.

A piece in The Times this week (here) confirmed what guests have been whispering for a while: people are done with the standard restaurant proposition. Too expensive. Too predictable. Too forgettable.
They want fire. They want provenance. They want to feel the season. They want to know where their food came from, and they want to remember the evening for years, not forget it by the next morning.
The shift is real. Pop-ups are everywhere. Independent operators and chefs are taking their kitchens outdoors. Free range kitchens, open fires, five-course feasts under open skies, experiential dining isn't a trend anymore. It's becoming the expectation.
That's exactly why we built Dining in Plain Sight.
DIPS was never designed to compete with restaurants. It was designed to replace the feeling they used to give you.
Set beneath a striking glass marquee, sky above, landscape all around, Dining in Plain Sight dissolves the boundary between indoors and out. Every detail is shaped by the season. At its heart is open-fire cooking; elemental, refined, and rooted in British provenance. We work with incredible chef’s like James Whetlor, travelling Head Chef of River Cottage, (who are celebrating 20 years at the highest end of incredible food this year). Seasonal ingredients. Local growers. Artisanal producers who care as much about what's on the plate as we do.
Up to 80 guests. Entirely tailored to you. Conceived, designed and delivered in-house, from the lantern-lit path to the final course.
As one guest put it: "my senses were dancing before I even walked into the marquee."
That's not a restaurant. That's an experience.
Whether you're hosting VIPs, need a luxury addition to your event or planning something deeply personal for friends and family, if The Times piece resonated with you, we'd love to talk.
