Chelsea is one of the most complex builds in our calendar.
The RHS Chelsea Flower Show is one of the most celebrated and logistically demanding events in the British calendar. For LOCK5, it is also one of the most personal, a project we have delivered year after year, across multiple clients and structures, in one of the most exacting environments in the industry.
This year, we delivered across six distinct hospitality and event spaces simultaneously, each with its own brief, its own client and its own standard to meet.
What we delivered
For Neptunus at Spring Gardens, we provided the complete white box interior, roof linings, tack-off walls and nearly 500m² of decking tiles to create a level outdoor space with a genuine garden feel. 120m² of premium hospitality, finished to the standard Neptunus and their clients expect.
For QEII, we installed 300m² of roof lining and approximately 40m of panelled wall system, a clean, considered finish that gave the space a strong sense of identity and character.
For AP&Co at Spring Gardens, we delivered something more bespoke, solid dividing walls engineered to be movable overnight, allowing the catering team to adjust capacity between event days without disruption.
Alongside this, a bespoke pergola created a stunning outdoor bar and seating space, a structure that requires individual adjustment every year to work around the natural growth of the surrounding garden.
For Dish across Champagne & Seafood and QEII, painted panelled walling delivered a polished, premium finish across both spaces.
For GL across the Ranelagh Restaurant, Exhibitors, Press and Judges Tent, we provided the complete white box interior to GL's structure, 141 lin/m of painted MDF walling, 18 column clads, 28 leg boxes, staircase and lift boxing, and extensive cladding across multiple structures on site.
